Nevada poker rooms received a combined $ 8,917,000 in May, according to data recently released by the Nevada Gaming Control Board. The total is a four tenth percentage point increase compared to May 2016.
The popular poker website now counts a total of 62 poker rooms operating in the state with a combined 724 tables last month. There were 755 desks among 67 rooms in May 2016. Income per table increased from $ 11,766 last May to $ 12,316 this year, according to state figures.
The Las Vegas Strip properties, Monte Carlo, which has eight tables, and Luxor with nine-table space were two of the five poker rooms that closed last year. The three table poker room visit pisauqq at Hard Rock on Paradise Road is closed in March.
With the 2017 World Series of Poker Main Event kicking off Saturday, July 8th, poker players have one more week left to live out their poker dreams by winning a gold bracelet.
